Scott Copeland, Northwest Coast Indian Art Since January of 1990, Northwest Coast Indian Art has been a major part of my life. The common shapes in Northwest Coast Indian Art - ovoids, feather and U-forms - grabbed my attention while constructing my first piece of this art form. Studying many books and great traditional Northwest Coast Indian artists, the art work I create is original and true to the Haida and Tlingit nations.

I have carved and painted over 50 canoe paddles and recently painted two of my designs on a wooden rowing scull.

My prints are of a high quality Giclee process, which is hard to tell from the original. I also have greeting cards and T-shirts that are available for purchase at my shows, from my home, and can be found at Ducko's frame shop in Springfield and at the Toad Hall in Yachats.
